Gather your family in the pines. During your stay at the Lodge, scan your boxes of photographs at our self-serve stations while our team photographs your family together and records loved ones telling the stories only they can tell — all in one relaxed, beautiful setting.
You arrive with shoeboxes of memories. You leave with a preserved legacy.
One visit does both — gather your family to make new stories, and leave with the old ones saved forever.
Bring your albums, newspaper clippings, slides, and shoeboxes to Family Story Studio next door to Colorado Lodge and scan them yourself at our easy self-serve stations — or we can scan them for you. Our interactive scanning stations help organize and label the individual photos to include the who, what, where, and when of each photo. Some photos make an excellent prompt for drawing out the really great stories from the people who were there when the photo was taken. Your photos never leave your custody and your scans never go over the internet. They only get used onsite, and they go home with you on a thumb drive — yours to do with as you wish: keep private, share with one person or a few, share with the whole family, or include them in your FamilyStory video.

Enjoy cornhole, horseshoes, hatchet throwing, volleyball, and picnicking on the property — or add some nearby adventure to your family's stay: whitewater raft, zipline, bike, hike, motorcycle, and take historic and scenic tours all around Pine Tree Park. Detailed excursion pages coming soon.
Gather at the Lodge and in the barn to celebrate the life of a loved one — view the memorial slide show or video, and reminisce over their memory stories. Some families prefer a “Toast and Roast” — a lighthearted way to bid farewell to those with a good sense of humor.
When time is short, we help families gather for one more reunion. We handle the photography, filming, and audio recording with compassion and care, so your family can simply be together.
